The following instructions provide detailed information for packaging and returning your empty HP printing supplies.

Packaging inkjet supplies

»  1-6 HP inkjet cartridges
»  more than 10 HP inkjet cartridges

Packaging HP LaserJet supplies

»  1 HP LaserJet supply
»  more than 1 HP LaserJet supply

HP inkjet envelope (holds up to six cartridges)

If you are returning one to six inkjet cartridges, please follow these steps:
Write your name and return address on the envelope.

Remove protective strip from envelope flap.
2.

Remove protective strip from envelope flap.
Place supplies in the envelope.
3.

Place supplies in the envelope.
Fold flap to seal the envelope.
4.

Fold flap to seal the envelope.
Give sealed envelope to a U.S. Postal Service carrier, or drop off at a U.S. Postal Service office.

HP supplies collection box

Open the box and make sure the plastic liner is inside the box.
1.

Open the box and make sure the plastic liner is inside the box to protect the cardboard from any leakage, should it occur. Fill the box more than half full, but do not overfill the box, as this may cause the plastic liner to rupture.
When box is full, close the plastic liner and seal it with the attached tape.
2.

When box is full, close the plastic liner and seal it with the attached tape.
Seal the cardboard box using the attached adhesive tape.
3.

Seal the cardboard box using the attached adhesive tape. Affix the pre-paid UPS Ground label as shown.
Give the package to UPS during your next delivery, or take to an authorized UPS drop-off center.

Give the package to UPS during your next delivery, or take to an authorized UPS drop-off center. For the location of your local UPS drop-off center, call 1-800-PICK-UPS (1-800-742-5877) or visit http://www.ups.com/. (Please note that requested UPS pickup will be charged normal pickup rates.)

Single HP LaserJet supply (one item)

Place empty supply into the bag and box that came with your new HP LaserJet printing supply.
1.

Place empty supply into the bag and box that came with your new HP LaserJet printing supply.
Close box using flaps.

Place shipping label on front of box.
3.

Place shipping label on front of box, as illustrated.
Give the package to UPS during your next delivery or take to an authorized UPS drop-off center.

Multiple HP LaserJet supplies (two to eight items)

Package empty supplies as described above. Tape up to eight single boxes together (maximum 70 pounds).
