The following instructions provide detailed information for packaging and returning your empty HP printing supplies.

HP ink return envelope

Place supplies in the envelope.

Place supplies in the envelope.
Remove protective strip from envelope flap.
2.

Remove protective strip from envelope flap.
Fold flap to seal the envelope.
3.

Fold flap to seal the envelope.
Give sealed envelope to a U.S. Postal Service carrier, or drop off at a U.S. Postal Service office.

HP ink supplies collection box

Open the box and make sure the plastic liner is inside the box.
1.

Open the box and make sure the plastic liner is inside the box to protect the cardboard from any leakage, should it occur. Fill the box more than half full, but do not overfill the box, as this may cause the plastic liner to rupture.
When box is full, close the plastic liner and seal it with the attached tape.
2.

When box is full, close the plastic liner and seal it with the attached tape.
Seal the cardboard box using the attached adhesive tape.
3.

Seal the cardboard box using your own adhesive tape.
Give the package to UPS during your next delivery, or take to an authorized UPS drop-off center.
4.

Give the package to the label's carrier during your next delivery, or take to the carrier's authorized drop-off location. For carrier information and locations:

Place empty supply into the bag and box that came with your new HP LaserJet printing supply.

Place empty supply into the bag and box that came with your new HP LaserJet printing supply.
Close box using flaps.

Close box using flaps, as illustrated.
Place shipping label on front of box.
3.

Place shipping label on front of box, as illustrated.
Give the package to UPS during your next delivery or take to an authorized UPS drop-off center.

Package empty supplies as described above. Tape up to eight single boxes together (maximum 70 pounds).

Place empty supplies into multi-piece box provided by HP, or use a suitable replacement.

Place empty supplies without packaging into collection box provided by HP or use a suitable replacement. Use a single pre-paid shipping label. Box should be full but not bulging.
Give the package to UPS during your next delivery or take to an authorized UPS drop-off center.
2.

Give the package to the label's carrier during your next delivery, or take to the carrier's authorized drop-off location. For carrier information and locations:
