Why doesn't HP offer HW recycling in Maine?

Maine regulations conflict with HP's ability to provide convenient pick-up at your doorstep recycling services. HP has communicated with ME DEP regarding ME DEP regulation issues that result in this service limitation, but some issues remain unresolved. HP may continue to work to resolve these issues as appropriate and reasonable. It is noteworthy that other companies have been found to state similar program limitations on their websites.
