More information: HP BladeSystem c-Class

The new HP BladeSystem c-Class portfolio sets a new industry agenda to "blade everything" by pre-integrating networking, power, cooling and management into a consolidated data center architecture. Now, small and mid-sized businesses as well as enterprise customers can fill their architecture with modular ProLiant, Integrity, StorageWorks and client blades and then add applications and third-party products to build complete business solutions.

The groundbreaking HP BladeSystem c-Class architecture is the first blade environment that enables users to wire computing resources once and change on the fly — dynamically adjusting power and cooling to meet energy budgets and increase administrative productivity by up to 10-fold. Through this new architecture, over a three-year period an average enterprise data center can realize:
  • System acquisition cost savings up to 35 percent
  • Data center facilities cost savings up to 59 percent
  • IT administration savings up to 64 percent
